West Michigan Scale Company was formed in 1975. Our business grew through the years because we lived by the principles of honesty and hard work while providing our customers with the services they needed and deserved.
In 1979, profits were invested into a new and larger facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. With the addition of trained service technicians and state of the art scale equipment, we were able to provide even better service for our customers. The results proved significant, and in 1986, a new building was constructed in Plainwell, Michigan and our work force grew.

Our progressive approach and dedication produced the stability necessary in our business to grow and expand even further. To increase work space, we doubled the size of our service area. We added technically advanced equipment to our rental scale inventory, including electronic parts counting scales and floor scales to be used for inventory purposes and other short term needs.
With the same dedication, enthusiasm and hard work, we are expanding our systems group to provide for special scale applications and we are strengthening our product line to include high resolution scale equipment and force measurement gauges.
